  Had Several dogs spayed and neutered at this location. The first time i picked up my dogs, and one had a huge gash above its eye, that had to be stapled shut! They said that my other dog bit him. I felt something was wrong, but gave the benefit of the doubt. When taking in my two females, one of them became extremely ill a few days after the surgery. Upon calling, these people said that it wasn't related to the surgery, and that I would have to pay them to check the dog out! How is it not related? The dog was healthy when I took her there, and now she isn't! Speaking with at least a dozen other vets, they said it sounds like there is an infection from the surgery! Now they want us to pay potentially hundreds or even thousands, to fix what they did wrong!

  We have taken all of our animals here for ages, and Mayben has taken wonderful care of each of our dogs and cats over the years. He is the only vet we go to. When my dachshund sustained a spinal injury, she was taken care of and Mayben said he would refer her to a Knoxville surgeon that specializes in this injury if things were worse, but thankfully after a round of steroids and crating for 6 weeks, she made a full recovery. I love how kind he and his assistants are, and how my dogs are treated like actual babies (which they are!), with the highest quality of care.
